Girls’ Lena Duhnam is American Vogue‘s February cover girl. A short film starring the actress and the magazine’s famous editor-at-large Hamish Bowles has just been released. It shows Lena at home the day before the big shoot. She’s panicking and calls Hamish to teach her how to pose like a model. It’s really really funny!
Lena definitely is the new Queen of Comedy.
Always dreamed of having Carrie Bradshaw‘s shoes ? Well, good news! It is now possible. And no, I’m not kidding.
Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her own shoe line next month in US department stores Nordstrom.
The actress has worked in collaboration with Manolo Blahnik‘s CEO George Malkemus to create this collection, clearly inspired from her Sex and The City character’s style. It features comfortable day shoes like canvas flats or wedges, and more sophisticated designs like lace-up booties, T-strap heels and Mary-Jane pumps. All the designs have been made in Italy and are available in different colors and heel heights.
SJP told O Magazine: “I really tried to give women beautiful silhouettes and colors and excellent quality for their money. I didn’t want to do anything that says, ‘Oh, these shoes are 2014.’ I want my shoes to be a part of the world for a long time to come.”
She also confessed to Glamour Magazine she felt “privileged” to have played Carrie Bradshaw: “I was exposed to so many beautiful shoes and to how they’re made. That role really cemented my love.”
Check out this cute video made by The Coveteur where Sarah Jessica Parker talks about her designs:
The SJP collection will be available from February 28 at Nordstrom. Prices from $195 to $485.
